Harry's getting on to "that age." At the opening of HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, we meet Harry Potter in bed under the blankets, playing with his wand.

f. all these stupid sounding spells Patronum, Ridikuluss, really makes my flesh crawl when they point their wands and say tihs supposeldy faux latin stuff.

expecto Patronum - oh god that just makes my flesh crawl.

hippo grif - good name because hippo means horse in Latin.

Lovely Hermione growing a little more legal with every film...

DFmemnotr are her to get Siriuus - apparently in castle somwhere becaus e apicture of the fat lady hides in another picture behind a hog. It's all quite Ridikulous really.

idickulos - is it too obvious to say rificulous?

and his magic cloak of invisibility - yet never once goes into hermone's chamhers with it. Talk about wasted opportunnity. FORESHADOW WASTED OPPORTUNIT OF A FILM, ETC.

seems heavily layered story wise until we realize that all of the plot twists and the propblems that the characters are having are based in magic. where anythign could happen to anyone and any time for any reason. I quickly grow tired of trying to care for characters that the actual AUTHOR of the story doesn't care for herself. Such little respect for her own world that her fiction takes place in a world where nothing is solid, there are no laws of physics that need be followed, no loaws of any natural kind, except the Hollywood laws of good and evil. Characters are drawn pretty sdtraightforward - if there is any cdout at all, it is a misunderstanding rather than an actual ambiguity in the character.

when he save siriu black from the dementors, the white stag appears - some kind of patronus spell. Maigc I love it - no reuls - Love to read allt he apologists online debating over why it appears as a stag argue bak and forth abou twhyt the patronus etc. why even bother going into it. ?

EMMA THOMPSON IN OVER-THE-TOP ROEL - divination in tea leaves that Harry is going to die becasue he's got sign of the Grim (leaves in shape of wolf) - okay thats fine - the fact that he doesn't die over seven more movies - does this count at all towards firing you for talking bullshit crazy bug eyed lady.

these filsmar e jst so well -made - effects seamless - all the magic is a part of this world -that's wahat sets it apart and makes people think it's beter than it is - they've taken care of the magical elements - I can see some child growing up with this - the scee in the carriage with the dementor - it will live with you for years - there are still the odd moments where this series suceeds on all levels - that is, you forget that the event taking place i part of a movie and fall into the world wholly - those moments are few and far between. Unlike LORD OF THE RINGS, where we are constantly in the movie wiht our heroes, there are so many instances of irrational and illogical things that I jhust canot follow the logic of the story.

dementor comes into train carrisag e- why is it trygin tto sucj out his soul.
emma watson - that is just so sensually deparaved. She's a woman now - I don't care what anyone says!
