Brooklyn Decker with her double deckers set on kill.
Adam Sandler looks like he's having a lot of fun just making the movie, just being in the movie business, just being himself and Aniston has not been this natural and sexy and cute for a decade. And Decker - hotter than hell, but no lewdness to speak of, even tho he's a plastic surgeon who works on topless women whose nipples we never catch a glimpse of.
don't tell anyone but I lauhed out loud many times
Brooklyn Decker who pisses me off, and by pisses me off, I mean I want to bang her till we're both crying.
the good thing sis: they're not aiming for punchlines, but for humor
and it's put tgoether well.
I like Adam sandler's natural personality - tha'ts actually the personality I saw two decades ago when he as doing standup - and that's why I always considerd him a funny standup but a terrible actor. But now he's let it out - the same character he played in FUNNY PEOPLE - that bemused, laid back type.
obvious that they share a neatual checmistry and easr - it's just figuring out how he's going to let down the other person - who is so annoying at her insistence of everyone doing eeryhing together - gradually - being painted as shallow starting wiht the 17 magazine at the airport - when they went to
all that trouble painting her as mature for an overnight hang with Sandler.
kturns into an old cary grant type farce - surprised and shocked at how good it is- Nick swardson Jennifer anisont sander and hot chicjk couls all b so goos - surprised at how touching and poignant it is as well - thank god no rob schneider - maybe that's what helped it??
stng has redone remixed, re-recorded a lot a of his famous songs for the ovie.
aniston - this is the girl we all fell in love with 20 years ago. Back again to make us fall in love all over again.
annoying when that hot chick drags whole family on a holiday - what kind of incognizant idiot is she to drag the ex-wife and the kids allng on a "romantic" getaway? That's where this movie asks us to acept jiust a bit too much. Even if the ex-family forced themselves onto the vacation, wolnd' this ghotttie - who at first came across as very sensible and sensual - be peeved that her time with her new boyfridn is being monopolized by his past life? That plot point loses us and is simultaneously the driving hook of the movie - how SAndler dealswith trying to escape the impositions of his "family" and spend time with decker.
Suddenly - Nicole Kidman, in a hilarious, broad role as Devlin, the girl from high school.
I like Nicoe Kidman, sometimes, she comes across as snotty and entitled due to roles such as this, but she does enough "serious" work (MARGOT AND THE WEDDING, THE OTHERS) g jobs) that she can afford to sometimes lay back and just let these broad stereotypes loose for our enjoyment.
