Opens with an incredible action sequence with Trinity on a bike, doing some sensual slow motion splits after catapulting the bike into a glass skyscraper. Then Neo awakens next to Trinity. Of COURSE he bedded her - the last movie ended with him flying like superman. Do you THINK he's NOT gonna get the girl after that?
Neo flies like Superman and rescues Morpheus and the Gatekeeper. and it's all last minute and sexy and super an' all. Later, when Neo is flying desperately to rescue Trinity falling, Morpheus looks at the screen and says "What's that?" Perrineau, "I don't know but it's moving faster than anything I've ever seen!" You dont know? you don't know? How about a stab in the dark and guessing that it's the only super being in the vicinity? Do y'think it might just be Neo, the only thing you know that can move that fast? and then he acts surprised when he saves her.
revives her by putting his hand mystically into her chest nad massaging her heart. When she comes to, the first thing he wants is sugar on his lips, as the dive into a massive snog. Just like a man - the first thing he wants is sex! No recuperationm, just do it.
this is where he fights all the Hugo Weavings. It's good at the start of the battle where Keanua has trained to to fight a mob that is not actually there. the Athleticism and choreography is superbly mounted, but then, almost imperceptibly, it turns CGI - everyone is CGI - and it becomes tiring to look at and tiresome to endure. Nothing is real any more. What's the point?
One of the best chases through traffic we will ever see - and it's green.
