Why didn't Paul Mercurio become a bigger star than he is - with such great talent, great physique, great performance, great movie? I guess he just looks too much like Guy Pearce and one Australian actor that looks like Guy Pearce is enough in the States, thank you very much!
Dancing is specatacular, explosive,
SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER was exciting, explosive, unique dancing, but when Travolta branched out in STAYIN' ALIVE to those Vegas/ Broadway dance moves, it got boring. But while STRICTLY is defeinitly Broadway, it is shot through with a bullfighting perspective.
we're talking about REAL spanish people here, not Mexicans in California who speak Spanish. These are Spaniards! the heart and soul of the dancing the pasa doble, FIND OUT.
in flashbacks of Doug Hastings and Barr yfife, they all look like Split Enz in he early days.
