X2:
X-MEN UNITED
Release: May 03 - Review: 4 Dec 04
X-traordinary.
The film unflinchingly supplies each major
character with an interesting arc; an almost insurmountable
undertaking, considering the plethora of varied roles
and interlocking story lines.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE
Release: May 09 - Review: 26 Nov 09
Claws I said so.
WOLVERINE might have been one of the great superhero movies had it steered into the curve like WATCHMEN and created a gritty R-rated closeup of a tormented soul. Instead, we get muttonchops sautéed in popcorn.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

Release: Jun 11 - Review: 18 Jun 11
Homo superior, Bromo superior.
Remove the movie from its source material and FIRST CLASS is a very enjoyable origin tale, smartly depicting how the - snigger - "first" X-Men came to wear such flamboyant matching blouses.
